What a fantastic day we had for our excursion to The Peninsula Aero Club at Tyabb Airport last week. We were so excited when we arrived and saw all the planes lined up waiting for us. Dave, Sundeep and Amy were our pilots and their kind and caring manner with the boys quickly put the soon to be pilots at ease. The boys each took turns to actually co-pilot and fly the Cessna 152 aircrafts. I can’t begin to explain the looks on their faces as they crossed the tarmac to board their small plane. Upon landing the expressions on their faces were priceless.
Some of the comments were: AWESOME……..AMAZING………UNBELIEVABLE……BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE IN MY LIFE even a WHOO HOO!!! How lucky are our boys to have this experience and they were very grateful to have the wonderful pilots who flew with them. Congratulations to the boys on their excellent behaviour and impeccable manners at the excursion. What a special day it was for everyone.
